Edu Sports

The key to the success of the EduSports programme is the quality of the on- ground delivery of the curriculum. We are continuously striving to improve the quality of the students both physically and mentally. Our aim is to get each and every child to participate in physical activity, learn the basic skills and most importantly have fun.

Scouting and Guiding

“Scouting is a fine game if we put our back into it and tackle it well, but remember it’s a game of the open air.”

A scout represents Self Reliance; Character; Orderliness; Universal Brotherhood; Trust and Truthfulness. Our Scouts have attended various camps and rallies which have helped them to develop a sense of responsibility in themselves. The Scouts of our school are the front line soldiers actively involving themselves at school functions, participating in the Guard of honour during every significant event. Every year, we escort our students to fun-filled camps for our scouts at different training centres. Camps are a precious and unique opportunity, a place to cherish, discover and support one another.

Abacus

We conduct Abacus exercise for building memory power and practice ‘writing with the left hand’ for inculcating creativity among students. Every day dictation is given as memory test visualization which is done without using the tool, this helps the students to visualize and solve the problems.

Global Awareness Programme

Global Awareness Programme (GAP) is India’s first focused general knowledge initiative to create, enhance and sustain awareness levels with respect to global happenings and current events

Assembly programmes

• Celebration of great leaders’ birthdays.
• ‘Respect Women’ Campaign.
• Swachh JGS Abhiyaan.

Life Skills

Skills for Adolescence: Lions-Quest SFA is designed to create a learning environment that explores and supports the unique characteristics and challenges of early adolescences.

The Awakened Citizen Programme is a three year graded value education programme for students studying in middle school and high school. The programme is designed enable the children to discover values. It provides a framework for decision making in their life and brings about a transformation from within. The programme has been developed on extensive research into the work of Swami Vivekananda.

Co-Curricular Activities

Under co-curricular activities, competitions are held on every Saturday. There are four houses namely Sushrutha House, Aryabhatta House , Chanakya House, and Kalidasa House.

Display Board Activities

The students are given different themes every month to gather information on the given topics. Their artistic and creative skills are honed in their efforts to make their display boards most attractive.
